Scaler by Marketproof ("Scaler") is operated by Marketproof, Inc., a New York corporation. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the Scaler platform at scaler.marketproof.com.
Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, brokerage, and real estate license number.
Campaign data: We store the campaigns you create, including contact lists, outreach content, delivery logs, and response data.
Property data: We access publicly available property records through Marketproof Pro, including ownership records, transaction history, and building information from sources like ACRIS and the NYC Department of Finance.
Contact data: When you use skip-tracing features, contact information (email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses) is retrieved from third-party data providers and stored in your campaign.
Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Usage data: We collect information about how you use the platform, including pages visited, features used, and campaign performance metrics.
We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Scaler platform, process your campaigns (sending emails, SMS messages, and direct mail on your behalf), handle billing and payments, communicate with you about your account and our services, and comply with legal obligations.
Scaler integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:
Mailjet: Email delivery and tracking. Subject to Mailjet's privacy policy.
Twilio: SMS messaging and phone number provisioning. Subject to Twilio's privacy policy.
Lob: Direct mail printing and delivery. Subject to Lob's privacy policy.
Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
Canva: Design creation. Subject to Canva's privacy policy.
Marketproof Pro: Property data and skip-tracing. Operated by Marketproof, Inc.
We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to perform its function.
When you use Scaler's SMS features, we provision a dedicated phone number for your account via Twilio. Messages sent through this number are transmitted via Twilio's infrastructure. Message content, delivery status, and recipient phone numbers are logged for campaign tracking purposes. Recipients who reply STOP are automatically added to a suppression list and will not receive further messages. We do not sell or share recipient phone numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted database connections, JWT-based authentication, and role-based access controls. We use Google Cloud Platform for hosting and database services, with daily backups enabled.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Campaign data and delivery logs are retained for 2 years. Upon account deletion, your data is retained for 90 days (to allow for account recovery) and then permanently deleted.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@marketproof.com. You may export your campaign data through the platform. You may delete your account through the Settings page.
Scaler uses essential cookies for authentication (session cookies) and functionality. We use Sentry for error monitoring. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
Scaler is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
